PostMotherland Berlin SC delivered an impressive 5-2 victory against SC Falco Subbuteo in last weekend’s friendly, controlling the match with a dynamic attacking display.
The scoring began early as Ayodeji Fakunle put Motherland in the lead in just the 7th minute with a composed finish to make it 0-1. The visitors doubled their advantage just before halftime when Sherifdeen Babalola calmly slotted home in the 15th minute, giving Motherland a 0-2 lead going into the break.
Motherland’s momentum carried into the second half, as Michael Asamoah added a third goal in the 60th minute, extending the lead to 0-3. SC Falco Subbuteo managed to pull one back soon after, reducing the deficit to 1-3.
However, Motherland responded swiftly, with Michael Asamoah netting his second goal in the 65th minute to make it 1-4. SC Falco Subbuteo continued to fight and narrowed the scoreline again to 2-4, but Ayodeji Fakunle’s second goal of the game in the 83rd minute sealed the win for Motherland, making it 2-5.
It was a clinical performance from Motherland Berlin SC, with strong showings from both teams.
